Summer is a time for running, jumping, throwing, kicking, catching, and, mostly, FUN!
Mixing skills for 6 sports with a dose of castles and dragons, bats and rats, cookies & French fries, and race cars and flying saucers is a recipe for the Playball SportsPlus Camp.

Developed by award-winning children’s book author Derick Wilder, Reading Giraffe is the place where books run wild! Our collaborative reading method turns stories into interactive, fun, & active adventures that spur both learning and imaginations, as we strive to inspire kids to become lifelong readers!

Camps are for BOYS and GIRLS between the ages of 5 and 8.
NOTE: Camps at RTES run MONDAY through THURSDAY.

Playball SportsPlus camps are from 9:00am - 12:00pm (drop-off begins at 8:55am)
Reading Giraffe camps are from 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Kids who attend both camps in a given week can bring lunch and eat with the Coach from 12:00pm to 12:30pm!

The cost is $120 for each camp.

Week #1: June 15 - June 18 (Monday - Thursday)
Week #2: July 6 - July 9 (Monday - Thursday)

Each week has an exciting new variety of books, games, and sporting activities!

Early Bird Special: Register & Pay by April 1st and receive $10 discount per camp.
Multi-Camp Special: Register for more than one camp and receive a $10 discount per camp.

Summer Camp Waiver

As a parent/guardian of a camp participant, I acknowledge there are certain risks of physical injury, and I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages or loss which I or my minor child/ward may sustain associated with said camp. I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my minor child/ward may have as a result of participating in the camp, against Playball, Reading Giraffe, and the city or school that hosts the camp and all of their officers, agents, servants and employees.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize officials of the camp to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for my minor child’s/ward’s immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered, including transportation charges. My child/ward has no medical conditions that would prevent him/her from participating in the camp.

Late Pickup Policy

The well-being of your child is our utmost concern, and a child who is picked up late can quickly become nervous and anxious! In addition, our Counselors, Coaches, and Teachers have a very busy schedule. So picking up on time both reduces the stress your child may face and shows respect for the time of our staff. So, while we certainly understand a parent's life can be hectic and the occassional emergency may arise, please pick up your child promptly at release time. Our hope is to NOT collect any late fees!

Pickup between 1 and 5 minutes late: $10 charge
Pickup between 6 and 15 minutes late: $25 charge
Pickup after 15 minutes late: $50 charge + meeting with the Counselor, Coach, or Teacher

Please contact your Counself, Coach, or Teacher if you will be late. Their number is on your "welcome" email.
Multiple instances of late pickup may result in a child not being allowed to attend our programs.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the start of a camp will receive a refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start of camp will only receive a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee, if there is a camper on a wait list who can fill that spot.
Refunds WILL be issued to all campers if a camp is cancelled.

Transfer Policy

Transfers to a different Playball or Reading Giraffe camp will be granted, with no fee, up to 14 days before the start of a camp, if the desired camp has availability.
