​FitLit Kids is excited to kick off 2026 at Springfield Elemetary!
     
    Reading Giraffe is  the place where where books run wild! By making stories interactive, fun, & ACTIVE adventures, our mission is to create lifelong readers. With fun new titles each session, our curriculum utilizes “The Whole Book Approach” from The Eric Carle Museum to immerse students in picture books, turning tales into collaborative, exciting adventures in learning! Created by local author/educator Derick Wilder, Reading Giraffe was born out of his passion for both reading and writing children's books!

    ​    Playball has been teaching children around the world for 40 years, with a mission of improving children's lives through our sports programs! Each session contains a fresh set of sporty activities and fun games that hone skills for 7 sports--football, soccer, baseball, basketball, kickball, tennis, and volleyball. Our creative, low-pressure environment encourages boys and girls of all athletic abilities to join in the fun!

    Students can enroll in either program or in both.
    Programs are for students in grades K - 3.

    Playball (Mondays): January 12 - May 11 (14 classes) $187
    Reading Giraffe (Wednesdays): January 14 - May 13 (16 classes) $215

    All classes run from 2:15pm to 3:15pm and are held at the school.
    At release time, students will meet the instructors (the location will be included in your welcome email).

    After class, students in FLYERS will be taken to the FLYERS program .
    Non-FLYERS students will be walked out front at 3:15pm to be picked up in the car line.

    Program Waiver

    Let's Playball, Inc. and our coaches are not employees of the school. Playball coaches provide instruction to the children and will not be under the direct supervision of the school's staff during the Playball and Reading Giraffe class times. By signing this form, I waive all claims for my child against Let's Playball, Inc., its coaches, the school or staff, and KIDINME Corp. for any illness or injury which may result directly or indirectly from participation in this activity.

    In the event of an emergency, I authorize officials of the program to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for the particpant's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered, including transportation charges. I certify that the participant has no medical conditions that would prevent him/her from being in the program.
    Late Pickup Policy

    The well-being of your child is our utmost concern, and a child who is picked up late can quickly become nervous and anxious! In addition, our Counselors, Coaches, and Teachers have a very busy schedule. So picking up on time both reduces the stress your child may face and shows respect for the time of our staff. So, while we certainly understand a parent's life can be hectic and the occassional emergency may arise, please pick up your child promptly at release time. Our hope is to NOT collect any late fees!

    Pickup between 1 and 5 minutes late: $10 charge
    Pickup between 6 and 15 minutes late: $25 charge
    Pickup after 15 minutes late: $50 charge + meeting with the Counselor, Coach, or Teacher

    Please contact your Counself, Coach, or Teacher if you will be late. Their number is on your "welcome" email.
    Multiple instances of late pickup may result in a child not being allowed to attend our programs.
    ​*  We will email an invoice. Please note that you do NOT need a PayPal account to pay via PayPal.
    ** There will be a $25 fee for returned checks.
Thank you for signing up for our FitLitKids classes! We offer our Playball and Reading Giraffe programs to schools around the area!

​You will receive a "Welcome" email when we process your registration (please allow 24 hours). If you are paying via PayPal, you will also receive an invoice. If you are paying via check, please bring a check, made to Playball, to class when picking up your student.
