2021 FitLit Kids Camps
Our mission at FitLit Kids is to provide high-quality educational programs and events that are focused on Fitness and Literacy... and sometimes both at the same time!
We apply these same principles to our sporty, fun camps!
Weekly Playball SportsPlus camps run from 9am - 12pm.
Weekly Reading Giraffe camps either run from 9am - 12pm or 12:30pm - 3:30pm.

Camp is a time for running, jumping, splashing, and fun! Throw in a healthy dose of castles and dragons, bats and rats, French fries and cookies, race cars and flying saucers... and you get the SportsPlus Camp. With over 30 years of experience with kids, it’s an imaginative, sporty adventure for BOYS and GIRLS of all athletic abilities.
Campers are introduced to a variety of sports each week, learning skills for football, basketball, baseball, kickball, soccer, and volleyball. The emphasis is on FUN, with plenty of high-energy games thrown into the mix. As with any Playball program, we stress sportsmanship while providing a low-pressure environment that encourages all campers to join in the fun.

Lakeshore Christian Fellowship Campus 9am - 12pm daily $120 per week ($100 for 4-day camp) *
May 24 - May 28
June 1 - June 4 (4 days - Tuesday through Friday)
June 28 - July 2

Children naturally like to read. But they LOVE to read when stories come to life! Reading Giraffe utilizes The Whole Book Approach from The Eric Carle Museum to create an INTERACTIVE, SHARED reading experience that makes picture books tools of learning! Our themed lessons include some of the most creative and engaging children’s stories, from the classics to wonderful present-day reads.
But turning pages is just the beginning, as we combine interactive read-alouds with spelling exercises, creative activities, and fun games, all based on the storylines and characters we read about. Each camp also includes “Build-a-Book” sessions, which gives campers the chance to put on their writers’ hats and pen their very own tall tales.
