Welcome to our MAY sessions
at Lakeshore Christian Preschool!

Playball has been teaching children around the world for 35 years! Each session contains a fresh set of sporty games and activities that introduce students to 7 sports--football, soccer, baseball, basketball, kickball, tennis, and volleyball--in a creative, low-pressure environment that encourages boys and girls of all athletic abilities to join in the fun.

Created by local author Derick Wilder, Reading Giraffe is the place where where books run wild! By making stories interactive, fun, & ACTIVE adventures, we strive to create lifelong readers. Lessons utilize “The Whole Book Approach” from The Eric Carle Museum to immerse children in picture books, turning tales into adventures in learning!

Reading Giraffe is on Mondays from 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Playball is on Wednesdays from 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Please note the late pick-up policy specified below.

Reading Giraffe: 2 classes, from May 1 through 8
Playball: 2 classes, from May 3 through 10

Registration can be made for (a) either/both session(s) or (b) the next class.
Classes cost $12 per class if paying for the session or $13 per class individually.

Classes are held in the gym, located up the stairs in the back of the building.
Teachers walk the students to class, and parents can pick up at the gym at 2:00pm.

We offer Reading Giraffe and Playball, and you can register for either or both programs. And you can sign up for the entire session (if it has already begun, we will only charge you for the balance of classes) or only for the next class.

Program Waiver

Let's Playball, Inc. and our coaches are not employees of the school. Playball coaches provide instruction to the children and will not be under the direct supervision of the school's staff during the Playball and Reading Giraffe class times. By signing this form, I waive all claims for my child against Let's Playball, Inc., its coaches, the school or staff, and KIDINME Corp. for any illness or injury which may result directly or indirectly from participation in this activity.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize officials of the program to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for the participant's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered, including transportation charges. I certify that the participant has no medical conditions that would prevent him/her from being in the program.

COVID-19 Addendum

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. While preventative measures that are in line with the school's have been put in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our classes, Let’s Playball, Inc. cannot guarantee that participants will not become infected with COVID-19.

Late Pickup Policy

The well-being of your child is our utmost concern, and a child who is picked up late can quickly become anxious! Also, our Coaches teach afternoon classes that they need to get to at local elementary schools. So picking up on time both reduces the stress your child may face and shows respect for the time of our Coaches. While we undersand a parent's life can be hectic, please pick up your child promptly at 2:00pm (at the gym door at the top of the back stairs). Our goal is to NOT have to collect any of the following late fees for the entire year -- please help us reach it!

Pickup between 2:01pm and 2:05pm: $10 dollar fee
Pickup between 2:06pm and 2:15pm: $25 dollar fee

You will receive a "Welcome" email when we process your registration (please allow 24 hours). If you are paying via PayPal, you will also receive an invoice. If you are paying via check, please bring a check, made to Playball, to class when picking up your child.
