!FitLit Kids is excited to kick off our 2026 session at Doby's Bridge Elementary!

    Reading Giraffe is  the place where where books run wild! By making stories interactive, fun, & ACTIVE adventures, our mission is to create lifelong readers. With fun NEW TITLES each session, our curriculum utilizes “The Whole Book Approach” from The Eric Carle Museum to immerse students in picture books, turning tales into collaborative, exciting adventures in learning!

    Created by local author/educator Derick Wilder,     Reading Giraffe was born out of his passion for both reading and writing children's books! His books have won the Crystal Kite and Margaret Wise Brown awards, and been included on Kirkus' "Best Books of the 21st Century (So Far)" list.

    ​​    Reading Giraffe  is held on Thursdays from January 29 - May 21, 2026.
    (No classes on February 19 and April 9)
    For students in grades K - 3.
    This session has     15 classes, with a cost of $200!

    All classes run from 2:15pm to 3:15pm and are held at the school.
    At release time, students will meet the teachers in ROOM C-132.

    After class, students in FLYERS will be taken to the FLYERS program .
    Non-FLYERS students will be walked out front at 3:15pm to be picked up in the car line    .

    Program Waiver

    Let's Playball, Inc. and our coaches are not employees of the school. Playball coaches provide instruction to the children and will not be under the direct supervision of the school's staff during the Playball and Reading Giraffe class times. By signing this form, I waive all claims for my child against Let's Playball, Inc., its coaches, the school or staff, and KIDINME Corp. for any illness or injury which may result directly or indirectly from participation in this activity.

    In the event of an emergency, I authorize officials of the program to secure from any licensed hospital, physician and/or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for the particpant's immediate care and agree that I will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered, including transportation charges. I certify that the participant has no medical conditions that would prevent him/her from being in the program.
    ​* We will email an invoice. Please note that you do not need to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal.
    ** There will be a $25 fee for late payments and returned checks.

Thank you for signing up for our FitLitKids classes! We offer our Playball, Reading Giraffe, and Kickball programs to schools around the area!

If you are paying via PayPal, you will also receive an invoice. If you are paying via check, please bring a check, made to Playball, to class when picking up your student.
